|Norwegian Championship in Freestyle football||Saturday 29. June||18:00 - 19:45||Festival Tent|
At Ekstremsportveko we are going to name the best norwegian battler, and the winner gets to represent Norway during the Red Bull Street Style World Final in Miami, Florida later this year.
The Norwegian Championship in Freestyle football is a battle competition,
3 minutes, 2 players, 1 ball. In each “battle” two players square off in a one-on-one duel against each other within a 7-metre wide (27-foot) competition area.
Three qualified judges will then vote for the freestyler they thought was best, and only one proceeding to the next round.
Who will win the title this year? Anyone of this fired up champions from last year?
Last year’s winner, Erlend Fagerli will try to defend the title, not an easy match since the level is high among his competitors in Norway!
Judges evaluate competitors on six criteria: difficulty, originality, all-around skills, trick execution, mistakes, and variety. Players are not allowed to touch the ball with the hands or arms and such touches are considered mistakes by the judges.
4Freestyle is the organizer with Renault as the main sponsor.
