Junior Award Ceremony and Todays video

Juniors are an important part of Ekstremsportveko, and we want to give them the opportunity to attend the award ceremony and watch the Video of the Day in the festival tent. At the same time, we are required to uphold our alcohol licence and ensure that alcohol and minors are kept separate. Therefore, specific rules apply for access.

Who gets access?

Juniors with a valid junior wristband for Ekstremsportveko.

Each junior may bring one accompanying guardian (18 or older).

Other family members over 18 are considered regular festival participants and must purchase a pass.

Anyone under 18 without a junior wristband will not be granted access to the tent.

Registration

Registration is mandatory for all juniors who wish to attend.

Deadline: 18:00 on the day

Valid for one day at a time

Meeting point and entry

Meeting point: The sand volleyball court behind the tent

Arrival time: 20:10

Veko staff will escort juniors and guardians together into the tent through the back entrance

Juniors and their guardian will be seated in a designated area at the front, near the stage

When the award ceremony and Video of the Day are finished (approx. 21:30), everyone will be escorted out the same way

During the event

Juniors and their guardian must remain in the designated area throughout the entire event

Moving around freely inside the tent is not permitted

The guardian is responsible for the junior at all times

Please follow all instructions from Veko staff

Limited capacity

Due to safety and capacity considerations, the number of spots available each evening is limited. Spots are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If more people register than there are spots available, juniors who have competed that day will be given priority – those who registered last will be notified if space runs out.

Cancellations

If the junior or guardian is unable to attend, please notify us as soon as possible so the spot can be made available to others.

Consequences of rule violations

If the rules are not followed, Ekstremsportveko reserves the right to revoke the festival pass of both the junior and the guardian. Repeated violations may result in exclusion from the remainder of the festival.
