Timbuktu, Festivalteltet, Ekstremsportveko

Timbuktu is one of Scandinavia’s’ most popular artists and in recent years has caught on outside of the hip hop community. He has established himself as an important political rapper who finds musical inspiration from folk music, American blues, as well as music from West Africa and Jamaica. With hits like “Alla vil till himmelen”,”Det løser seg” and “Botten er nådd”, he is known for creating an exciting party atmosphere. His music has many dimensions to it, which Nordic Council of Speech recognized with an award in 2011.

The energy from the stage was high from the very first song, and he performed songs from his latest release “För Livet Till Döden” which has cemented him on top of the Scandinavian hip hop throne.
