Intermediate Climbing

Wednesday at Ekstremsportveko 2026, we're hosting a climbing gathering for experienced climbers ready to explore some of Voss's finest rock. This isn't a beginner course – it's a meetup where you climb on your own responsibility, with an instructor on hand as a mentor to show you the best lines and the wider possibilities for climbing in the Voss area.

The instructor will set up top-ropes on a few of the most popular routes, giving you a low-threshold way to try them out. Beyond that, it's up to you and your climbing partner to lead, belay, and look after each other.

Strong holds, big lines, and good company!

Requirements

- Minimum age 15–17: with written parental consent
- Brattkort and experience from sport climbing
- Able to climb on top-rope and lead
- Able to belay on top-rope and lead
- Able to catch a lead fall safely

Everyone climbs and belays with a helmet on at all times

Meeting Place  Elvefeltet (Bolstadøyri) – route info

Elvefeltet offers vertical and overhanging climbing, with long, varied, and high-quality routes. The crag also holds up well in wet weather.
