Join us for a full day of paragliding in one of Norway’s most spectacular fjord landscapes during Ekstremsportveko.

Aurland offers dramatic mountain terrain rising straight from the fjord, scenic launches and large landing areas in the valley below. With strong thermals, long glides and stunning views over the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord, this is one of the most unique flying areas in Western Norway.

Expect a full day of flying, exploration and good vibes with fellow pilots as we head beyond Voss to experience the Aurland valley from the air.

Expect a sky full of paragliders as pilots from all over the world join the trip to explore the Aurland valley together.


Registration options

You can join the Aurland flying day in two different ways:

PG – Flying in Aurland (Transport + Shuttle included)

349 NOK

Includes:
• Bus transport from Voss → Aurland
• Local shuttle between landing and launch sites in Aurland
• Return transport Aurland → Voss


PG – Flying in Aurland (Shuttle only)

179 NOK

Includes:
• Local shuttle between landing and launch sites in Aurland

Participants choosing this option must arrange their own transport to and from Aurland.

6. Gå til handlekurven og klikk "Confirm" for å bekrefte påmeldinga.
7. Motta påmeldingsbekreftelse på eposten din.

Aurland is known for its dramatic mountains, deep blue fjord and beautiful flying terrain. With scenic launches and large landing areas, this valley offers an unforgettable day for paraglider pilots who want to explore beyond Voss.

We will travel together to Aurland by bus and spend the day flying in the area. Expect great flying, stunning views and a full day in the mountains with fellow pilots.


Requirements

Norwegian pilots

- Minimum licence PP3


Foreign pilots: 

- Valid paragliding licence, third party insurance, and experience with mountain launches and landings


Administrative requirements

Athletes must have completed all the following steps to participate:

- Valid Extreme Pass or Volunteer pass.
- Completed Athlete Registration. Not done that already? Do it here!
- Registered for this event (registration link at the top of the page).

Required equipment

- Paraglider canopy
- Harness
- Helmet
- Sturdy hiking or mountain shoes
- Water and food for a full day
- Warm layers and windbreaker
- Radio strongly recommended
- Sunscreen and sunglasses


Transport

- Bus transport will be arranged for all participants.
- Bus price TBA NOK.

A payment link will be sent to registered participants once the transport price is confirmed. Payment within the given deadline is required to secure your seat on the bus.
