B.A.S.E. heliday

B.A.S.E. ! BASE Heliday/Cunt of the mountain landing competition Gudvangen Wed 29.06 at 11:00 .

Imagine standing on top of a massive mountain, right next to a huge vertical drop in the evening sun. Under you, the valley is shaded. You just watched your friends jump and now the silence is complete... As you push off the mountain and lay down on an invisible cushion of air, waiting for your wingsuit to inflate. You're not thinking about what's for dinner later.

B.A.S.E. jumping is the recreational sport of jumping from fixed objects, using a parachute to descend safely to the ground. "BASE" is an acronym that stands for four categories of fixed objects from which one can jump: building, antenna, span, and earth (cliff).

To be able to enter the heli you need to show a valid wristband. That means you have to register as an athlete and buy an athlete pass in advance before the event.

Here’s your checklist:

  • Sign up as an athlete.
  • Pay for an athlete pass in advance.
  • You can pay for heli-slot at the event with a credit card, NO CASH.
  • Pick up your athlete pass at our accreditation tent in the festival area (before the B.A.S.E. heliday).

Meet at the classic landing 10.00 to register. We wanna fire up the heli asap and have everyone on the cliff around 11.00. Heli will go to SPARKLING DIAMONDS.

We have set one possible day for the heliday but, this might change quickly since the sport is pretty weather depending. The press-competition concept will follow Heli day.
