Open Fly Race – Windtunnel Competition
The VossVind Competition is an inclusive indoor skydiving contest open to flyers of all levels and abilities.
This year’s format is the Open Fly Race — a fast-paced and exciting competition inspired by the Indoor Para Skydiving discipline.
Whether you are taking your first flights in the tunnel or already flying advanced vertical routines, this event is designed so everyone can participate, challenge themselves, and have fun in the wind.
The goal is simple: create the most open and welcoming indoor skydiving competition possible.
All experience levels, backgrounds, ages, genders, nationalities, and aerodynamic abilities are welcome.
Competition Format
Competitors fly individually and attempt to complete the race sequence in the fastest possible time.
The sequence consists of:
Random A
Block Sequence B
Block Sequence C
Random D
Random A again (finish point)
Targets in the blocks must be validated using the same hand or upper limb extremity.
Competition diagrams and race illustrations will be shown below.
Impaired competitors receive an aerodynamic motor skill coefficient assigned by the International Skydiving Commission (ISC) classification board, allowing athletes of different abilities to compete on the same course.
The Norwegian National Championship will be held as part of the event for eligible athletes (Norwegian citizen or resident for minimum 3 years, eligible impairment, born before 2015).

A single 5-second penalty is given if instructor assistance occurs, regardless of how many times assistance is provided.

A single 5-second penalty applies for:
Missed attempts or failure to validate a target before moving to another target.
