Indoor Para Skydiving Norwegian Championship

This June, Voss becomes the stage for something truly special:
the first-ever Scandinavian Indoor Para Skydiving competition – including the Norwegian National Championship (NM).
Hosted as part of Ekstremsportveko, the world’s largest extreme sports festival, this event brings together athletes of all levels for an inclusive, high-energy competition inside the wind tunnel.
About the Event
The competition is open to both Norwegian and international para-athletes, creating a unique arena for performance, progression, and community.
The event is co-organised by:

- VossVind (Voss Wind Tunnel)
- Ekstremsportveko
Our goal is to build a strong Norwegian IPS community and inspire participation in future European and World Championships.

Competition Format
The event includes:
- Minimum 2 non-scored flights
- Minimum 3 qualification rounds
- Semi-final (Top 8)
- Final (Top 4)

Entry fee: 1000 NOK

Festival Access
To compete, you’ll need a festival pass:

Pre-Event Training
Train in the VossVind tunnel ahead of the competition:
3500 NOK/hour (off-peak)
4100 NOK/hour (peak – evenings, weekends, holidays)
Practical Information
- Helmets and approved equipment required
- No visible metal components allowed in the tunnel
- First aid and medical services available on site
- Voss Hospital located 5 minutes away
- Accommodation is not included, but Voss offers a wide range of options.
