Head of Accreditation

Location: Voss, Norway & Online
Duration: Project-based position (before and during Ekstremsportveko)

The Head of Accreditation is responsible for planning, administration, and execution of accreditation for Ekstremsportveko, and acts as an operational support to the Head of Tickets during both preparation and on-site delivery. The role is central to ensuring correct access, clear overview, and safe execution for athletes, media, partners, staff, and other accredited groups.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Accreditation Systems and Preparation

- Support the setup, operation, and follow-up of accreditation systems in close collaboration with the Head of Tickets.

- Manage and maintain accreditation lists, ensuring accurate names, categories, and access rights.

- Create and manage accreditation links for groups, partner companies, organizations, and other accredited entities.

- Ensure accreditation solutions are clear, user-friendly, and adapted to different target groups.


Accreditation Distribution and Access Control

- Manage the distribution of accreditation passes, both digital and physical where applicable.

- Plan and oversee on-site distribution of passes, wristbands, cards, or digital credentials.

- Ensure clear routines for access to venues, backstage areas, media zones, and restricted areas.

- Work closely with the safety team to ensure correct and secure access control.

- Support the Head of Tickets during check-in and special access cases.


Collaboration and Coordination

- Work closely with the Head of Tickets before and during the festival to ensure alignment between ticketing, registration, and accreditation.

- Collaborate with media, partners, sports departments, and festival operations.

- Coordinate volunteers working with accreditation and pass distribution.


Control and Problem Solving

- Handle discrepancies, errors, or missing accreditation in a calm and professional manner.

- Be present during the festival to support operational decision-making and resolve issues quickly.

- Ensure accreditation rules and access levels are followed in practice.


Follow-Up and Evaluation

- Follow up accreditation lists and documentation after the festival.

- Contribute to evaluation and improvement of accreditation workflows for future editions.

- You are comfortable working with lists, systems, and access structures.

- You communicate clearly and collaborate well, especially with the Head of Tickets and safety teams.

- You remain calm and solution-oriented in high-pressure situations.

- Basic digital skills and experience with accreditation, ticketing, or registration systems are an advantage.


Working Hours and Duration

The role requires high availability before and during Ekstremsportveko, with increased workload during opening days, competition days, and peak periods. Physical presence in Voss is required.
