Head of Results and Prize Ceremony

Location: Voss, Norway & Online
Duration: Project-based position (before and during Ekstremsportveko)
 

The Head of Results and Prize Ceremony is responsible for accurate handling of competition results and the professional execution of prize ceremonies during Ekstremsportveko. The role is central to ensuring smooth flow between competitions, results, and prize-giving, and requires a structured and reliable individual who thrives in a fast-paced festival environment.

Key Responsibilities and Tasks

Results Management

- Ensure accurate collection, verification, and handling of results from all competitions.

- Work closely with judges and discipline leads to confirm and approve final results.

- Ensure results are ready and clearly communicated ahead of prize ceremonies.

Prize Ceremony Execution

- Plan and coordinate procurement or collection of prizes for all competitions.

- Ensure prizes align with competition rules, plans, and sponsor agreements.

Have overall responsibility for the execution of prize ceremonies, including:

- preparing prizes

- ensuring correct order and accurate distribution

- coordinating with the host, discipline leads, and event staff during ceremonies

Coordination and Collaboration

- Work closely with the sports department, event operations team, and sponsors.

- Contribute to prize ceremonies being delivered in a smooth, professional, and efficient manner.

Overview and Quality Control

- Maintain clear overview of results lists and prize inventories throughout the festival.

- Document and archive results and prize setups for future reference and evaluation.

Post-Event Follow-Up

- Contribute to evaluation of results and prize ceremony processes.

- Identify improvement areas for future editions of the festival.

Working Hours and Duration

The role requires flexibility and availability before, during, and after Ekstremsportveko. Physical presence in Voss is required during the festival, especially in connection with competitions and prize ceremonies.
