Do you live and breathe social media and adventure? Ekstremsportveko is looking for a bold and creative Head of Social Media to lead our digital presence and bring the world's wildest week of extreme sports to life online.
As the Head of Social Media, you'll be an integral part of planning, creating, and executing our communications strategy across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube. You will be building hype, driving engagement, and showcasing the energy and community that make Ekstremsportveko legendary. You will be working close together with Head of Marketing, as well as the media teams to deliver unforgettable content before and during the festival.
Key Responsibilities
- Help develop and execute the overall social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube.
- Plan and produce engaging content that reflects the energy, athletes, music, and community behind Ekstremsportveko.
- Manage and run the Social Media team.
- Collaborate with marketing, sponsors, and media partners to align messaging and maximize exposure.
- Maintain a consistent brand voice and high-quality standard across all channels.
Qualifications
- Experience in running social media for an event, festival, or lifestyle brand.
- Ability to work in high-energy and ever-changing environments with tight deadlines.
- A genuine passion and understanding for digital presence.
- Great communication and leadership abilities.
Working Hours & Duration
This position requires flexibility and high availability before and during Ekstremsportveko. Presence in Voss during Ekstremsportveko is essential.
