Head of Exposure and Activation

Job Title: Head of Exposure and Activation
Reports to: General Manager
Location: Voss, Norway / Digital
Duration: Project-based position (before, during, and after Ekstremsportveko)

 

Key Responsibilities

Sponsor Visibility:

  • Plan and secure optimal exposure for sponsors and partners across all festival areas.

  • Coordinate placement of logos, banners, signage, and digital elements in accordance with sponsorship agreements.

Design and Brand Alignment:

  • Ensure all exposure aligns with the festival’s aesthetics and brand strategy.

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate sponsor elements into the festival’s visual identity.

Implementation and Logistics:

  • Oversee the timely delivery and installation of exposure materials.

  • Coordinate with volunteers and logistics teams to set up and maintain exposure materials throughout the festival.

Sponsor Activation:

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute sponsor activation initiatives on-site to engage festival participants and audiences.

  • Ensure activations reflect both sponsor goals and the festival’s brand values.

  • Serve as the main contact for sponsors during activations, ensuring smooth execution and a professional presence.

Follow-up and Documentation:

  • Ensure sponsor visibility and activation requirements are fulfilled during the festival.

  • Document all exposure and activations through photo and video for post-event reporting.

Collaboration and Problem-Solving:

  • Work closely with the General Manager and other departments to secure successful delivery of exposure and activation activities.

  • Handle real-time challenges related to exposure or activation materials.


Qualifications

  • Experience in exposure, activation, and logistics: Proven background from events, festivals, or marketing/advertising projects.

  • Branding knowledge: Strong understanding of how exposure and activation influence brand building and ability to ensure professional execution.

  • Technical understanding: Familiarity with different formats, including printed and digital materials.

  • Organizational skills: Structured and detail-oriented in planning and follow-up.

  • Communication skills: Strong collaboration abilities and capacity to coordinate across multiple teams.


Workload and Duration

  • The role requires flexibility and high availability before, during, and after Ekstremsportveko.

  • While much of the work can be done digitally, on-site presence in Voss is essential during the festival to ensure smooth delivery of sponsor exposure and activation activities.
