Highasakite has become one of our most beloved bands. With the album "Silent Treatment" (2014), they shattered all records by spending 134 weeks on the VG-lista charts. Since then, they have headlined all the major Norwegian festivals, sold out several arenas, won numerous awards, performed at the Nobel Concert, and toured the world multiple times.
"With 'Mother,' Highasakite proves that they are still one of Norway's most important bands in 2022," said NRK when Ingrid Helene Håvik, Trond Bersu, and the rest of Highasakite kicked off the 2022 by releasing their highly anticipated album. Hardly any other band has made such a mark on Norwegian music in the past decade, both from the speakers at home and on stage.
