Head of Accommodation

Location: Voss, Norway & remote
Duration: Project-based position (before, during and after Ekstremsportveko)

The Head of Accommodation plays a key role in ensuring that Ekstremsportveko staff, guests and partners have a safe and comfortable stay. The role requires a structured and service-minded person who can take responsibility for the accommodation arrangements during the festival.


Key Responsibilities and Tasks


Accommodation planning

- Plan and manage accommodation facilities for core staff, guests and partners during Ekstremsportveko.

- Prepare a detailed accommodation plan based on needs and capacity.


Coordination with accommodation providers

- Collaborate with local accommodation providers to secure suitable facilities and negotiate agreements.

- Coordinate bookings and handle any changes or issues that may arise.


Follow-up of needs

- Be available to handle specific accommodation needs from core staff, guests and partners.

- Ensure that all tailored solutions meet the festival’s standards and expectations.


Logistics and communication

- Work closely with other teams to ensure that all accommodation information is clearly communicated and kept up to date.

- Prepare overviews and lists of bookings for efficient coordination.


Quality assurance

- Ensure that all accommodation facilities maintain a high standard and are well adapted to those who use them.

- Follow up feedback and evaluate the accommodation offer to identify improvements for future events.


We Expect

- Experience with logistics and administration: Previous experience from similar roles in accommodation, events or tourism is an advantage

- Strong organisational skills: Structured and efficient in planning and executing tasks.

- Communication: Able to collaborate well with both internal teams and external partners.

- Problem-solving: Quick and flexible when facing challenges in busy situations.

- Customer service: Able to meet needs in a professional and welcoming manner.


Working Hours and Duration

The role requires flexibility, especially in the weeks before and during the festival, with a need to be present in Voss to ensure good follow-up and coordination of the accommodation offer.
