About

Ekstremsportveko is the world’s largest extreme sports and music festival — a celebration of adrenaline, nature, and community.
Every June, athletes, adventurers, and creatives from all over the world gather in Voss, Western Norway, for one unforgettable week of competition, culture, and connection.

We host events across a wide range of sports — kayaking, rafting, BASE jumping, paragliding, hang gliding, skydiving, MTB, BMX, skateboarding, longboarding, climbing, wind tunnel, speed riding, big air, freeride, and more.
For one week, national and international athletes challenge themselves — and each other — in one of the most beautiful natural arenas on Earth.

But Veko is about more than just competition.
It’s about people, shared experiences, and the unique energy that fills Voss every summer.
Athletes, artists, volunteers, and visitors come together to create a one-of-a-kind community — built on respect, curiosity, and a deep love for the outdoors.

The festival also features a vibrant music and culture program, turning Voss into a hub of live concerts, art, and celebration.
From rock and hip-hop to electronic and reggae, the last nights of the festival bring everyone together long after the sun sets behind the mountains.

Ekstremsportveko is owned and organized by the non-profit foundation Stiftinga Ekstreme Voss, and was founded by the local clubs Voss Active, Voss Kayak Club, Hang and Paraglider Club, and Skydive Voss.
Throughout the year, a small core team works full-time to develop the festival, supported by over 800 volunteers who make it all possible.

Together, they create something that’s far more than a festival —
it’s a movement that celebrates courage, creativity, and community.
