Leave Nothing But Footprints – Nature restoration event
Nature is the foundation of our adventures. This morning, we will give something back.
In cooperation with Naturverkstaden and the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature (Naturvernforbundet), we invite you to join a nature restoration event aimed at protecting the ecosystems along the rivers of Voss.
Join us for a hands-on conservation effort as we remove Himalayan balsam, an invasive plant species that poses a significant threat to local river ecosystems.
For each participant, 450 NOK will be donated directly to the protection work of the Raundal River by Voss Elveklubb.
Date: June 22nd
Time: We meet at 09:30 for breakfast, coffee, and a short introduction. We expect to be back at Voss Elveklubb around 12:30.
Meeting point: Voss Elveklubb. We will drive together to the work site close to the nature reserve in Øvre Granvin.
Free breakfast and coffee will be provided.
The work is easy work, as the plant has shallow roots.
The event is free of charge, but registration is required, so please sign up in advance.
