Volunteer Roles

You will be serving refreshments to all the great people attending Ekstremsportveko and maybe watch a concerts while doing it? You must be at least 18 years old to join the crew.

In this crew, you will be a part of the good atmosphere at the festival camp. Help with check-in, check-out and organizing of tent and spaces and fostering community – a great way to get to know people and be a part of the good atmosphere.

We are looking for professional health workers to be a part of the medical team. Authorized health personell with license as a paramedic, EMT (ambulansearbeider), nurse or doctor, especially experience in emergency medicine is highly valued.

Do you like sales and fashion? Be a part of the team that sell our great Veko-merch! Engage customers, handle payments, restock items and promote the coolest merch there is!

Be part of the team that manages prize inventory, handles delivery logistics, and ensures a smooth prize ceremony.

Welcome guests with a smile as one of the first friendly faces they meet! Check tickets, issue wristbands, and be ready to answer lots of questions.

Be part of the team that collects sports results during events, updates leaderboards, and prepares presentations for the prize ceremony.

Be part of the team that makes it all happen from start to finish! The Rigging Crew handles both the construction and demolition of the festival: building stages, tents, and event areas before the action kicks off, and helping wrap it all down once the week is over.

This smiling team keeps the Veko spirit alive! Serving food, spreading good vibes, and lifting the energy of our amazing volunteer family. They’re always there with a plate, a pep talk, a hug, or a high-five when it’s needed most.

This is the ultimate all-rounder team! Jumping in wherever extra hands are needed. You might help out at different sports events, around the festival arena, or a bit of everything in between. All you need is a positive attitude and an open mind!

PS: Photographers need to bring their own camera.

Help capture and share the energy of Veko in real time! Create live posts, stories, and content for our festival channels. Highlighting epic moments, engaging with followers, and keeping the stoke high all week.

We’re looking for creative, energetic volunteers to capture the magic of Veko and help craft our daily recap videos. If you love storytelling, filming, editing, or just want to be part of the most fun and fast-paced media team there is - this is your chance!

PS! You need to bring your own equipment.

As a sports volunteer, you’ll be part of the action before, during, and after the events. Tasks can include anything from building and setting up the event areas to helping with logistics like parking and coordination.

Some roles require specific knowledge of the sport, so let us know if you have any prior experience. Don’t worry if you don’t; enthusiasm, teamwork, and a helping hand are just as valuable.
