Competition format

The line marks the spot. Can you land exactly on it?

In the Landing Competition at Ekstremsportveko the goal is simple: place your wheel as close to the landing mark as possible. Precision, timing and smooth control make the difference between a perfect touchdown and the bottom of the results list.

Touch down before the mark and the attempt does not count. Land closest to the spot and take the win.

If the weather allows it, each participant will get two attempts. Pilots may choose which glider they want to fly.

Student glider pilots are welcome to participate and may fly with an instructor. This competition is open for everyone.

Administrative Requirements

Athletes must have completed all the following steps to participate:
- Valid Extreme Pass or Volunteer pass.
- Completed Athlete Registration. Not done that already? Do it here!
- Registered for this event (registration link at the top of the page).
