Tandem Paragliding
Dreaming of flying over Voss?
During Ekstremsportveko 2026 you’ll have the chance to experience the freedom of paragliding and see the spectacular landscape around Voss from a completely new perspective.
Together with an experienced instructor from Voss Hang- and Paraglider Club, you’ll launch from the mountains and glide quietly through the air with views of fjords, valleys and peaks all around you. It’s a unique experience and one of the most memorable ways to experience Voss during the festival.
No previous experience is required – just a bit of curiosity and the willingness to take a few running steps for takeoff.
Who can fly?
To stay within safety margins, we can only accept passengers weighing less than 120 kg. You must also be able to do a short sprint, as you and your instructor will run together during takeoff.
What should I wear?
Wear sensible shoes and warm clothing. Depending on the conditions, you may need to hike 30–40 minutes to reach the launch site.
Booking
Voss Hang- and Paraglider Club will offer both tandem paragliding and adaptive (HC) tandem paragliding during Ekstremsportveko.
