Every official MTB event counts toward the overall standings.

Your performance across all disciplines determines who takes the crown.

The system is progressive and designed to reward both excellence and consistency.

At the top, the gap is big.
Winning Matters.

Further down the rankings, the curve flattens.

That means you can win the championship without winning a single race.

If you stay competitive across disciplines, you can take the overall title.

💎 Event Tiers

Not all races are created equal. Events are tiered to reflect their scale and competitive depth.

💎Diamond Tier

- Bavallen Downhill - Nordic Downhill Series
- Maximum 150 points
- Top 100 riders score
 

🏅Gold Tier

- Enduro and Urban DH
- Maximum 100 points
- Top 30 riders score
 

🥈 Silver Tier

- Pumptrack, Slalom and Chinese DH
- Maximum 50 points
- Top 20 riders score

Every position counts. Every overtake matters.
 

🎟 Automatic Entry

There is no separate registration for the championship.

All riders with a valid Festival Pass who compete in MTB events are automatically included.

If you race without a Festival Pass, you will appear in the event results, but you will not receive overall championship points.

Simple. Clean. Transparent.

Nordic Downhill Series (NDS) participants without Festival pass have until Monday 22nd of June at 23:59 to upgrade to full Festival pass in order to keep their points for the week. 
 

💥 Bonus Points That Change Everything

Two bonuses can shift the leaderboard.

Full Week Bonus

Finish all scheduled MTB competitions and earn 50 extra points.

Versatility Bonus

Score points in at least one Diamond event, one Gold event and one Silver event to earn 30 extra points.

The system rewards riders who show up across disciplines.

Win Nordic Downhill and leave early?
You may not win the crown.

A rider who finishes inside the top 20 throughout the week and completes every event can outscore a single-event winner..

👑 The Crown

At the end of Ekstremsportveko, the highest scoring male and female riders are crowned:

Queen of the Mountain
King of the Mountain
 

The winners receive:

- The official championship trophy
- Prize money
- Recognition and Crowning at the closing ceremony
