Heli Day in Gudvangen
Heli Day has become one of the true highlights of Ekstremsportveko. The helicopter brings jumpers to exit Sparkling Diamonds. Wingsuit pilots and experienced onepiece jumpers can choose to hike 30 minutes further to exit Skjerpis.
The main landing area will host manifest, packing space, music and food.
The area also becomes a great viewing spot for spectators. Want to spend the day watching? - Bring a camping chair, find a place along the landing field and enjoy the atmosphere.
The exits
Sparkling Diamonds
- Vertical drop 260 m*

- Suitable for all types of BASE jumping

Precision landing competition
There will be a precision landing competition at the main landing area.
If you want to participate, inform the exit coordinator at Sparkling Diamonds before your jump.
Cash prizes will be awarded for the best landings.

09:00 Manifest opens
09:45 Mandatory safety briefing
10:00–13:00 First heli cycle
13:00–14:00 Heli pause
14:00–17:00 Second heli cycle
There are 25 heli loads in total. Loads are manifested on the day.
Requirements
- Minimum 50 terminal BASE jumps
- Reference or mentor provided during registration
- Modern two pin BASE rig
- Pilot chute suitable for the type of jump
Administrative requirements
Athletes must have completed all the following steps to participate:
- Valid Extreme Pass or Volunteer pass.
- Completed Athlete Registration. Not done that already? Do it here!
- Registered for this event (registration link at the top of the page).

Final price will be announced once helicopter rates are confirmed.
Payment will be made on site on the day of the activity.
