This year, Ekstremsportveko hosts a stop of Cliff Masters, the world’s leading freestyle cliff jumping competition.

Since 2021, Cliff Masters has brought together top athletes from more than 20 countries, building an international circuit that blends competition, performance, and community. Here, it’s not just about height — it’s about creativity, style, and pushing the limits of what’s possible in the air.

The Ekstremsportveko stop in Voss will gather some of the sport’s most exciting athletes for a spectacular showdown above the water.

The winner of the event will secure a place in the Cliff Masters Final in Barcelona later this summer.
 

Event Details

Date: Thursday, June 25
Competition: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Morning warm-up: Open training session
Participants: Maximum 12 athletes
Location: To be announced

The exact venue will be revealed later, but we are in Western Norway, where dramatic cliffs, rivers, and waterfalls create a breathtaking natural arena for the competition.
 

A Show for the Crowd

Expect huge sends, technical tricks, and moments that will make the crowd hold its breath before erupting in cheers.

With live commentary, music, and elite athletes pushing the limits from the cliff, Cliff Masters is set to become one of the most spectacular events of Ekstremsportveko.

After the competition, the winners will be celebrated both at the venue and later on stage in the festival tent, where highlights from the event will be shown the same evening.

Athlete Applications

Want to compete in Cliff Masters at Ekstremsportveko?

Athletes must apply to participate. The application requires links to previous jumps, videos, and social media showing experience and skill level.

A judging panel will review all applications and select 8–12 athletes to compete.

Selected athletes must also complete test jumps during the morning warm-up session on the day of the event.
