Start the day with a hike, launch into the fjord landscape and finish the experience aboard one of the most iconic events of Ekstremsportveko.

The Veko Cruise – Hike & Fly gives paraglider pilots the chance to combine a scenic hike and flight with the unforgettable atmosphere of the Norway’s Best Veko Cruise.

Pilots hike to the launch, take off above the dramatic fjord landscape and fly towards Gudvangen, where the cruise begins. After landing, pilots join the boat together with spectators and athletes for an evening sailing through the UNESCO listed Nærøyfjord.

Jumpers in the sky, a DJ on deck and the fjord all around you — one of the most unique experiences of Ekstremsportveko.

Whether you come for the flying, the scenery or the atmosphere on board, this is a Veko experience you do not want to miss.

This includes bus to and from the event, including ticket for Norway´s Best Veko Cruise. 
 

Limited to 20 pilot spots.

Participants must hold a valid Extreme Pass.

Spots are limited and will be allocated first come, first served.

Requirements

Minimum licence PP3

Pilots must bring their own paraglider equipment

What to expect

- Scenic Hike & Fly experience above the fjord
- Landing near Gudvangen before boarding the cruise
- Scenic fjord cruise aboard the all electric Future of the Fjords
- Live DJ and great atmosphere on board
- Front row views of skydivers, speedflyers, paragliders and BASE jumpers performing above the fjord
- Food and drinks available for purchase
- A unique Veko experience on the water

Transport

Bus transport from Voss to the hike start before the event and return transport from Flåm back to Voss after the cruise is included in the ticket price.

After the cruise, buses will take everyone straight back to Veko Loungen, where DJ Shøm and DJ Solara will continue the night with music, dancing and proper Veko vibes.

More detailed transport information will be announced closer to the event.

Important information

For safety reasons, swimming in the fjord during the event is strictly prohibited.

It is also not allowed to bring your own alcohol on board.

All participants must sign a safety declaration confirming these rules before boarding.
