Description of the event
Fly cross-country with your paraglider from Voss and get as high score as possible through the XContest page every day. You choose according to the conditions if you want to fly open distance, out and return, or triangle. The takeoff needs to be in Voss County, and the flight needs to be at least 15km. Your flight needs to be logged on the Xcontest page by 20:00 each day. Price giving for the best flight (highest score) in each category will be the following day. (If you fly on Monday the price giving will be in the festival tent Tuesday etc.)

For qualified cross country pilots, holding a certificate equivalent to minimum IPPI-4.
Equipment
- EN/LTF certified paragliders
- GPS for uploading tracklog to Xcontest
- Reserve parachute mandatory
- Engine and towing not allowed
Registration/Sign Up
You need a valid athlete pass to compete.
To sign up for this competition you have to mark your flight on Xcontest with “XC-comp VEKO” in the text field, and be signed up through the Ekstremsportveko web page.
