Competition Concept
Speed Climbing is all about explosive power, precision, and speed! Athletes will race against each other on parallel 10-meter walls, climbing as fast as possible to hit the top buzzer first. The routes are identical, allowing competitors to focus purely on technique and efficiency.
Head-to-Head Battles:
- Two climbers compete at the same time on mirrored routes.
- The winner is the first to hit the buzzer at the top.
- Expect fast-paced action and thrilling duels!
🔥 Extra Challenge!
A bonus element will be introduced, requiring strategy and problem-solving to shave off crucial seconds. Details will be revealed closer to the event!
Qualification Round
- Each athlete will have two runs on each side of the wall.
- Best time from each side counts towards qualification.
- The top six in each category advance to the final!
Finals!
- The top athletes will battle it out in an intense four-run final, with two runs on each side.
- Bonus elements will be in play – mastering them could mean the difference between victory and defeat!
- Get ready for a high-speed, high-adrenaline climbing spectacle!
