Concept

What better way to finish off the rafting action than with a mass start riverboard race during Ekstremsportveko.

All competitors launch together and battle their way down the river on riverboards. The course follows the same section as the Head-to-Head rafting race, finishing on river right at the bank below the final rapid.

Expect an exhausting, chaotic and adrenaline-filled ride. Fast lines, splashing water and tight racing make this one of the wildest events on the river.

Registration for this event is separate from the Rafting Event.

Level

Participants must be experienced riverboarders and comfortable in Class III–IV whitewater.

Required equipment

- Riverboards
- Wetsuits
- Flippers

Equipment will be provided by the organizers.

Administrative Requirements

Athletes must have completed all the following steps to participate:

- Valid Extreme Pass or Volunteer pass.
