Veko Trail

Now you have the opportunity to combine trail running with one of the most unique festivals in Norway. Welcome to Veko Trail, the trail running competition during Ekstremsportveko.

This race takes you through some of the most beautiful running terrain around Voss. Expect varied trails, scenic mountain views and a course that combines technical sections with fast runnable terrain.

The race finishes right in the festival area, where the atmosphere of Ekstremsportveko awaits.

Maximum 150 participants.

- Approximately 40% trail / 60% gravel


Start and transport

- Buses will transport runners to the start.
- Departure from Voss Tinghus at 09:45.
- Race start 10:30.


Course description

Start – CP Hedleberget (13.5 km)

From Langedalen the course climbs on a marked mountain trail toward Lemme. The ascent is technical and at times steep before the terrain opens above the treeline near Øyjordstølen.

At the highest point of the course, Skorseteggi (972 m), runners are rewarded with a spectacular 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains.

From here the route continues along beautiful mountain trails past Koellingseggi before descending toward the mountain farm area at Liaset. A mountain road then leads down toward Lemme and further to Hedleberget.


CP Hedleberget – Finish (13 km)

From Hedleberget the route follows the Cultural Trail, highlighting parts of the area's historic slate production.

After a short section on asphalt, the course turns onto singletrack and begins the final climb toward Storåsen before passing through the small nature reserve at Håmyrane.

A flowing descent from Storåsen leads runners back toward the valley. The final stretch follows gravel paths at Prestegardsmoen before crossing the finish line at the Veko festival tent.

Athletes must have completed all the following steps to participate:

- Valid Extreme Pass, Volunteer pass or Singel-event Sportpass.
