Course description

There may be changes to the course. The final course will be announced before race start.

Start – CP Fjosestølen (14.5 km)

Starting at the town square in Voss, the route heads out of the centre toward Storåsen. After a few kilometres on asphalt and gravel roads, the course continues onto trail across Storåsen before climbing toward Kyte and Raudkjeldo.

The route follows technical trail sections past Singesetvatnet before reaching the first checkpoint at Fjosestølen.

CP Fjosestølen – CP Langedalen (9 km)

From Fjosestølen the route continues on a mountain farm road before turning onto technical trail sections along Helgasetvatnet and further north into Langedalen.

The trail then transitions into a mountain road following the river Langegjolo before reaching the next checkpoint.

CP Langedalen – CP Hedleberget (13.5 km)

From Langedalen the climb begins on a marked trail toward Lemme. The ascent is technical and sometimes steep before the terrain opens above the treeline near Øyjordstølen.

At the highest point of the course, Skorseteggi (972 m), runners are rewarded with spectacular 360-degree views.

From here the route continues along beautiful trails past Koellingseggi before descending toward the mountain farm area at Liaset and further down toward Hedleberget.

CP Hedleberget – Finish (13 km)

From Hedleberget the route follows the Cultural Trail, highlighting parts of the area’s historic slate production.

After a short section on asphalt, the course turns onto singletrack and begins the final climb toward Storåsen, followed by a scenic section through the small nature reserve at Håmyrane.

A flowing descent from Storåsen leads runners back toward Voss. The final stretch follows gravel paths at Prestegardsmoen before crossing the finish line at the Veko Festival Tent.
